The Maskcular Movement 💪🏾

As COVID-19 cases continue to increase, authorities across the nation are issuing orders that require people to wear face masks in public to slow the spread. To help save lives and protect public health, the OVER team decided to launch "The Maskcular Movement" to Donate 1 Mask on Every Purchase to ensure the availability of quality face masks to underprivileged families. 😇

At the end of the campaign, we had 55 customers who participated! Although the numbers are not that high, that does not matter. The thing that matters is the involvement of customers in this cause because this small act of kindness had helped save many individuals from this deadly virus. Moreover, we experienced much more than just giving out free masks throughout this campaign!

During our campaign, we found that we are not the only ones helping in this challenging time. We noticed "En Xin Charity," supporting Low-income families, orphans, and widows around West Malaysia. Charity's mission since its inception has been to feed food-insecure families, which means families who don't know where their next meal will come from during this pandemic. 

The response of people to the devastating impact of the Coronavirus pandemic is highly appreciable. We also noticed that many care companies and small businesses are sponsoring food and essentials to the needy that amazed us. ❤️

The Maskcular Movement stands for something more than free masks. It depicts the importance of wearing a mask. We do not do it because we have to; we do it because we have to protect our families and stand in solidarity with our communities. We are looking forward to participating more often in these events because it reminds us how privileged and lucky we are. ✨

We believe that this is a marathon and not a sprint. We are all in this together, and we are all going to wear masks to prove it. It is the heart of the issue, and that is what OVER will continue to promote.

After the surreal experience with them, we also decided to donate another RM1000 to En Xin Charity and we believe they will put the money into good use for helping those underprivileged families in such a difficult time.
